CIO at Dayforce

As Chief Information Officer, Carrie Rasmussen leads all aspects of global IT at Ceridian – from daily operations to internal corporate strategies on data analytics, and technology operations – with the objective of creating an optimized infrastructure and data strategy across all operations.

Carrie is an industry veteran with 20+ years of business experience and IT expertise leading enterprise organizations. Most recently, she was Chief Information Officer at The Save Mart Companies, where she transformed the company’s IT division delivering multi-year roadmaps, organizational alignment, and governance.

She began her career in Information Technology at Safeway Inc. where she held multiple senior leadership roles across IT, overseeing technology strategy, development, and support for all aspects of the business. Carrie rose to the position of Group Vice President of IT, where she led the merger integration between Safeway and Albertson’s. Carrie brings extensive background in merger integration, advanced analytics, digital marketing, commerce and system modernization.

A graduate of California Polytechnic State University at San Luis Obispo, Carrie holds a bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, and a master’s degree in Agriculture Business Management.
