Sam Clifford started their work experience as an Automation Test Engineer at nFocus Testing in 2011. Sam then joined i-design ltd in 2012, where they worked as an Intern Software Engineer, developing the front-end of a new MVC application and creating installer packages and tools using WiX and PowerShell. Sam progressed to the role of Level 1 Software Engineer, focusing on full stack development of an advertisement management application using technologies such as c# ASP.NET MVC, Web API, Entity Framework, and SQL Server DB. Sam later became a Level 2 Software Engineer at i-design ltd, where they worked on a visual C++ advertisement platform and provided onsite development and support for national and international customers. Sam also supported and extended the joonoCM platform and worked on legacy web applications.
In 2018, Sam Clifford joined Cardtronics as a Senior Software Engineer, where their responsibilities included developing C# .NET applications for ATMs. Sam remained in this role until 2020. Currently, they are working at Dayshape as a Senior Software Engineer and has recently been promoted to the role of Principal Software Engineer.
Sam Clifford attended the University of St Andrews from 2009 to 2013, where they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science.
