F. George Njoroge

F. George Njoroge is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in scientific research and leadership within the life sciences sector. Currently serving as Chairman of the Council at Daystar University and Chief Scientific Advisor at Kenyatta University Teaching Referral and Research Hospital, F. George Njoroge also contributes to various boards and committees, including as a Committee Member of the Ontario Institute for Cancer Research Therapeutics Pipeline Advisory Board and as Founder and Chairman of the Center of Africa’s Life Sciences. Previous roles include significant positions at the Kenya Medical Research Institute and KCA University, as well as extensive experience in medicinal chemistry with major pharmaceutical companies such as Eli Lilly, Merck, and Schering-Plough Research Institute, where F. George Njoroge led the discovery of impactful antiviral therapeutics. F. George Njoroge holds a PhD in Organic Chemistry from Case Western Reserve University and a BSc in Chemistry from the University of Nairobi.
