Declan Toomey, CMILT, has extensive experience in logistics and operations management, currently serving as the Regional Operations & Customer Manager for Contract Logistics at DB Schenker since July 2004, overseeing the Cork, Ireland branch with full Profit and Loss responsibility and managing a team of over 50 individuals. Prior to this role, Toomey held positions as Branch Manager and Ocean Product Manager at Kuehne + Nagel from March 2000 to July 2004, and District Manager at Expeditors International from November 1992 to March 2000. Toomey holds a degree in Supply Chain from CILT, completed between 2003 and 2005, and has a secondary school education from Abbey CBS in Tipperary Town and Christian Brothers Tipperary.
