Kenny Rowell

Simon Schmitt is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in project management and engineering design, currently serving as Director of Project Management APAC at DBM Vircon since November 2019. Simon's career spans various roles, including Business Manager for Industrial Detailing and Project Manager at DBM Vircon, and previous project management positions at PDC Group, where the focus was on program management and team leadership across multiple design and detailing hubs. Prior experience includes roles as Concept Design Draftsman at CBH Group, Mechanical Draftsman/Estimator at Geographe Enterprises, and Design Draftsman at GAZ Design Drafting, specializing in structural and mechanical design for the mining and industrial sectors. Simon holds a Diploma of Project Management and an Advanced Certificate in Engineering and has also briefly lectured at Curtain University of Technology.
