Venkat Pogaru

Venkat Pogaru has extensive experience in risk management and corporate banking, currently serving as Senior Vice President of Risk Management at DBS Bank since June 2012. In this role, Venkat has held various leadership positions, including Head of SME Credit for both West and South India and Credit Risk Manager for Mid-Market across North, South, and East India. Prior to DBS Bank, Venkat worked at HSBC from September 2007 to March 2012, where responsibilities included managing corporate relationships as a Relationship Manager and overseeing weaker credit profiles as Vice President of Credit Risk Management. Venkat's career began at eServe/Citigroup Global Services LTD as a Deputy Manager from May 2004 to September 2007. Venkat holds an MBA from Sydenham Institute of Management and a degree from KJ Somaiya College of Engineering.
