Rohit Karki

Rohit Karki currently serves as a Senior Project Officer at the DCAF - Geneva Centre for Security Sector Governance, providing strategic and technical advice on security and justice sector governance since December 2018. Previous roles include Project Officer at DCAF, where management of Asia-Pacific security sector reform initiatives occurred, and Project Manager at the Kathmandu School of Law in conjunction with the Danish Institute for Human Rights and the University of Sydney, focusing on security sector reform projects. In addition, Rohit has academic experience as a Faculty Member at Tribhuvan University, teaching on international relations and diplomacy, and has contributed to various international organizations and initiatives, including TPO Nepal for child soldier reintegration and the Australian Institute of International Affairs as an intern. Educational qualifications include a Master of Arts in Asian Studies from The Australian National University and participation in a fellowship program at the University of Delaware focused on U.S. national security policymaking.
