Bret Weber

Bret Weber joined DDN in August 2010 and brings more than 30 years of experience to his role as Executive Vice President of Engineering and Chief Technology Officer. Formerly, Bret held leadership positions at LSI Corporation and its various antecedents, where he was an LSI Fellow as well as Chief Architect for Engenio Storage Group. Weber holds more than 50 issued patents in the areas of storage software, hardware and systems, and most notably assisted in building standards for end-to-end data integrity which resulted in the T10 DIF Protection Information Model that is widely used today. Weber holds Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees in Electrical Engineering from Wichita State University.
