Jason Armao has a strong background in the science and innovation of color applications and ingredients. Jason started their career as a Quality Control Supervisor at Chr. Hansen A/S, where they supervised a team, managed product and material approval processes, and contributed to continuous improvement efforts. In 2002, they joined WILD Flavors, Inc. as the Director of Colors and Special Ingredients, a role they held until 2010. Jason then worked for D.D. Williamson as the Director of Color Applications and Innovation from 2010 to 2014. Finally, they joined DDW, The Color House - part of Givaudan, where they served as the VP of Innovation and Application before being promoted to SVP of Science and Innovation.
Jason Armao has a Bachelor of Science degree in Clinical Laboratory Science from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, which they obtained from 1991 to 1995. Jason also holds an MBA degree from the Keller Graduate School of Management of DeVry University, which they completed from 1997 to 2002. The focus of their MBA degree was in the field of Business.
