Louis Malfait

Louis Malfait is an experienced professional currently serving as Data Protection Officer and Information Security and Compliance Officer at De Cronos Groep since September 2022. Additionally, Louis is a member of Bow Tie Security since January 2022 and held the roles of Business Development Manager and Governance Risk and Compliance Consultant at Infosentry NV from September 2015 to September 2022. Louis also has experience as a Managing Partner at Head Forward from December 2018 to January 2021 and completed an internship at the Cabinet of the Flemish Vice-Minister President in mid-2013, focusing on administrative policy matters. Louis holds a Master's degree in Business Economics from the University of Ghent and a Master's degree in Public Policy and Management from Ghent University, alongside a Bachelor of Applied Science in Public Policy and Management from Hogeschool Gent. Currently, Louis is pursuing an Executive Master in IT Risk and Cybersecurity Management at Antwerp Management School, starting in September 2024.
