Jon joined De La Rue as the General Counsel and Company Secretary on 3rd April 2023 and has over 20 years’ experience in Company Secretarial, Legal and Governance, having held numerous executive roles in both listed FTSE 250 and private companies operating in industrial, manufacturing, property, security and the defence sectors.

His most recent role was as Group General Counsel & Company Secretary with QinetiQ Group plc, a multi-national FTSE 250 operating primarily in the defence, security and critical national infrastructure markets. Jon is highly experienced on both strategic and tactical levels, having run the commercially-focused Legal & Governance team for the last 11 years, which included leading multi-disciplinary teams on project execution and problem resolution, legal advice and facilitation. Prior to joining QinetiQ, Jon had General Counsel & Company Secretary roles at Chloride Group plc, St Modwen Properties plc, Molins plc, and Group Lotus.
