De Martini has been working in textile-manufacturing field since 1960. 
Thanks to the experience acquired in processing synthetic fibres, in the early Seventies we took up a new challenge and started the production of capillary flow-control filters used as reservoirs in writing instruments, cosmetics and air fresheners. To better focus on these applications, in the Nineties we created a new division, DBT FIBRE S.p.A., to continue the textile business by developing and producing mixed fibres and webs for spinning.

Today, in De Martini we produce and distribute filters in acetate, polyester and polypropylene fibers and supply the world's leading manufacturers of writing instruments, room scenting or diffusion devices, products for cosmetics and many other applications.
Our products are exported in all five continents and the various markets are served either from our main plant in Cerrione, Italy, or through the joint venture created with the Hitkari Group based in Mumbai, India, the De Martini Hitkari Fine Products Pvt. Ltd.

In more than 50 years, we have continued to believe in and want to innovate, while remaining tied to simple values and our homeland. Land that we protect when manufacturing our products, optimising environmental and social impact.
