Chris Whittaker

Chris Whittaker is a seasoned professional in product design with extensive experience in academia and industry. Currently serving as a Senior Lecturer and Product Design Consultant at De Montfort University since November 2018, Chris has previously held significant roles including Owner and Managing Director at Hoot Product Design Ltd from October 2014 to August 2019, and Head of Product Design at Eurosuisse International from 2008 to September 2014. Additional leadership experience includes serving as Managing Director at Magicbox Product Design LTD from 2004 to 2008 and as Director at TheAlloy: experience led design from 1999 to 2004. Chris began a career in product design as a Designer and Senior Designer at Random Product Design from July 1992 to January 1999. A graduate of De Montfort University, Chris holds a degree in Industrial Design with Engineering, Product Design, earned between 1989 and 1992.
