Helma Bongers-Janssen

Helma Bongers-Janssen currently serves as a member of the supervisory board at De Zorggroep since May 2023 and has held the position of Medical Manager of Rehabilitation and Director of the Rehabilitation Center at Sint Maartenskliniek since March 2016, specializing in Rehabilitation Medicine and Spinal Cord Medicine. Additionally, Helma is a member of the supervisory board for the Maartens Foundation and previously served on the supervisory board of Envida from November 2014 to December 2022, and as Chair of the Nederlands Vlaams Dwarslaesie Genootschap from June 2015 to April 2018. Helma has extensive experience in the field, having worked with Adelante Zorggroep as an MD in Rehabilitation Medicine specializing in spinal cord injuries from September 1998 to February 2016, and began medical education at Maastricht University, obtaining an MD in medicine in 1997.
