Henry Mitchell FRAeS is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the aerospace and defence sectors. As the Senior Business Manager at DEA Aviation Ltd. since July 2018, Henry oversees specialised airborne operations for a global fleet of aircraft. Simultaneously, as Managing Director of Airssociates Consulting Limited since March 2017, Henry guides team-enabled operations in high-risk environments while ensuring regulatory compliance. Previous roles include Security Sector Specialist at the Department for International Trade, providing advisory support for UK defence and security exports, and a distinguished 35-year career with the Royal Navy, culminating in senior positions that included Commander (Air) at Royal Naval Air Station Yeovilton and various command roles related to multi-national flying operations. Henry holds a Master of Arts in Defence Studies from King's College London and has contributed to significant defence projects, including the Joint Combat Aircraft programme.
