Danny Bernstein

Danny Bernstein is an experienced professional in the automotive and hydrogen fuel cell sectors, currently serving as the Research and Operations Manager for HYCEL at Deakin University since January 2024. Prior experience includes roles as a Fuel Cell Expert at Hyzon Motors, and as a Project Manager and Fuel Cell Systems Engineer at AE Driven Solutions GmbH. Danny has also held project engineering positions focused on chassis, safety systems, and fuel cell systems at StreetScooter GmbH, and contributed as a project member at HYPOS Hydrogen Power Storage & Solutions East Germany e.V. Earlier experience includes a thesis student role at EDAG, where Danny developed a validation program for fuel cell vehicles, and an internship at ALFING CORPORATION, supporting automotive industry projects. Danny earned a Diplom-Ingenieur in Automotive Engineering from the University of Applied Sciences at Zwickau.
