Edward Dao has over 17 years of experience in software engineering. Edward began their career in 2003 as a Software Engineer Intern at Nextance, where they worked in a startup environment and gained experience with various languages and enterprise software development. In 2004, they moved to The Echo Group as a Software Engineer. In 2006, they became a Software Engineer at Quality Planning Corporation. In 2013, they began working at Verisk as a Senior Software Engineer, where they developed and maintained customer-facing applications, converted legacy ColdFusion web applications to ASP.NET, designed and created a database-driven workflow engine, oversaw testing and development updates, and performed ETL migration of legacy data. In 2021, they joined Dealpath as a Senior Software Engineer.
Edward Dao obtained a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the University of California, Berkeley.
