Joshua Castaneda has worked in various roles since 2009. In 2009, they were the Frosh/Soph Soccer Head Coach at San Marcos High School. In 2010, they were the Head of Public Relations at Women in Software and Hardware, and a Software Engineering Intern at Control Point Corporation. In 2011, they were a Computer Programmer at Yardi Systems. In 2012, they were a Junior Software Engineer at Glimmerglass Networks. In 2014, they were a Software Engineer at Riverbed Technology. In 2017, they were a Senior Software Engineer and Technical Lead at Dealpath. As a Technical Lead, they lead the team that shipped the first iteration of task approvals, planned and developed engineering deliverables, and gracefully handled significantly shifting requirements with minimal delays on the overall roadmap. As a Senior Software Engineer, they researched and implemented product features, modernized the front-end and its build system, added support for users that are a part of multiple teams, standardized critical non-standard fields, and ran point on research to discover how to introduce and leverage new technologies.
Joshua Castaneda attended UC Santa Barbara from 2007 to 2011, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science.
