Luz Shepherd

Luz Shepherd currently serves as the Senior Director of Supply Chain Management at Deciphera Pharmaceuticals, a position held since June 2019, with a progressive career in clinical supply chain roles, including Director and Associate Director, as well as Senior Manager at the same company. Prior experience includes clinical supply leadership at Shire and material planning at TESARO, Inc., along with a fellowship in global clinical supply at Pfizer. Luz also has academic experience as an Adjunct Assistant Professor at MCPHS University, coordinating pharmacy courses and delivering industry-related lectures. Educated with a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences, a B.S. in Human Biology from the Universidad de Puerto Rico, and a Ph.D. in Physiology from the University of Puerto Rico School of Medicine, Luz combines a strong academic background with extensive practical expertise in drug development and clinical supplies.
