Aleck Jones

Aleck Jones is a skilled researcher and innovator in the field of biomedical sciences, currently serving as Founder in Residence for Immune Strategies for Paediatric Oncology at Deep Science Ventures since February 2024. Simultaneously, Aleck holds the position of Honorary Research Associate at Imperial College London's Institute of Reproductive Developmental Biology. Previous experience includes a postdoctoral researcher role at King's College London from January 2021 to February 2024, focusing on women's and children's health, and earlier postdoctoral positions at UCL and the M.R.C. National Institute for Medical Research, where research encompassed mitochondrial dynamics and metabolism. Aleck completed a Ph.D. in Cell/Cellular and Molecular Biology at UCL between 2007 and 2011.
