William Etheridge

William Etheridge is an experienced professional in the fields of engineering and academia, currently serving as the Founder in Residence for Zero Emission Shipping at Deep Science Ventures since January 2024. Prior to this role, Etheridge was a Lecturer in Fluid Dynamics at the Horizon Academic Research Program from May 2021 to January 2024, and a Researcher in Chemical Engineering at the University of Cambridge from January 2020 to January 2024. Previous positions include System Engineer at Adelan Limited and Marine Engineer at BP. Etheridge holds a PhD in Chemical Engineering from the University of Cambridge, expected in July 2024, a BS in Physics with a year in Computer Science from the University of Birmingham, and a Foundation degree in Marine Engineering and Management from Lancaster University.
