Jing Liu

Jing Liu is an accomplished Engineering/Technology Leader at DeepFlex Inc since October 2010, specializing in the design and analysis of flexible pipes and leading the development of Pipe Design Software. With prior experience as a Senior Analysis Engineer, Jing Liu focused on creating detailed cross-section analysis models for various flexible pipe applications, delivering crucial analyses for structural integrity and performance. Previously, Jing Liu contributed as a contractor on a riser design project, developing methodologies and software for gas permeation analysis. Jing Liu's earlier roles included positions as a Research Scientist at Rice University and a Postdoctoral Research Scientist at the University of Texas at Austin, where contributions included developing software for detector data reconstruction and calibration in large-scale physics experiments. Jing Liu holds a BS in Applied Physics from Tsinghua University and a PhD in Experimental Physics from the Institute of High Energy Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences.
