Lorena Szerman serves as the Head of Sales and Business Development at Genpax, which focuses on advanced data analysis in genomics through its commercially available IDEM platform. As a Commercial and Strategic Advisor at KAYLO and a Fellow at Deeptech Labs, Lorena provides strategic guidance across various initiatives. Advisory roles at DN Capital and Revenue Collective further showcase expertise in business development. Lorena founded the UK chapter of BizWorld, a non-profit aimed at teaching entrepreneurship to children, and has been a mentor at London Business School's Launchpad program, assisting startups in refining their pitch decks. As the Founder & Director of Safe Circles, Lorena launched a global hackathon focused on women's safety technology. Previous experience includes serving as a Strategic Advisor at MAHA Global and a Chief Revenue Officer at CogX, successfully managing a transition from a physical to a virtual event format. Lorena holds a Master’s degree in Marketing from the University of California, Berkeley, and a B.S. in Computer Science and Business Administration from Universidad de Belgrano.
