Nesbitt Hagood

Bubba Hagood is a seasoned professional in the venture capital and technology sectors, currently serving as the Managing General Partner at Tenon Ventures since February 2022, where the focus is on supporting early-stage entrepreneurs in deep tech innovation. As a Fellow at DeepTech Labs since September 2021, Bubba contributes to the development of top-tier deep tech companies within the Cambridge ecosystem. Additionally, Bubba has been mentoring startup teams through the Massachusetts Institute of Technology's Venture Mentoring Service since June 2020. Previous leadership roles include CEO of Triib by Xplor, Vice President of Technology at Qualcomm, and founder of Pixtronix and Continuum Photonics. Bubba's academic background includes a tenure as an Associate Professor at MIT, where a focus was placed on various cutting-edge research areas in aeronautics and astronautics. Education credentials include a Bachelor’s, Master’s, and PhD in Aerospace Engineering, all obtained from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
