Colin Kemp is a Senior Defence Scientist at Defence Research and Development Canada since 2008, focusing on natural language processing for personnel outlook research and science-policy integration for the Canadian Armed Forces. In addition, Colin serves as a Scientific Advisor for Duco Media & Technology Solutions, contributing expertise in the development of a descriptive and predictive analytics platform. A previous secondment as a Data Scientist at the Treasury Board of Canada Secretariat involved proposing and developing prototype data science and natural language processing applications aimed at enhancing HR analytics capabilities. Earlier experience includes teaching English in Japan through the JET Programme. Colin holds a Master of Arts in Psychology and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, both from Carleton University.
