Matt Kennedy

Matt Kennedy is an accomplished engineering and management professional with extensive experience in the defense contracting sector. Currently serving as the Deputy Director at the Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) since March 2012, Matt oversees operations for Wisconsin, the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, and Northwest Indiana. Previous roles at DCMA include Engineering and Manufacturing Manager and Quality Assurance Team Supervisor, focusing on major defense acquisition programs and ensuring product quality. Prior to joining DCMA, Matt worked as a Senior Engineer at DCMA from 2009 to 2012 and held engineering positions at Modine Manufacturing Company and the Naval Surface Warfare Center. Matt holds a Master’s in Engineering Management from Milwaukee School of Engineering and a Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering from Iowa State University, alongside leadership experience as Team Director for Iowa State University's Formula SAE Race Team.
