James Davis is an accomplished executive leader with extensive experience in logistics and contracting within the U.S. Department of Defense. Currently serving as the DLA Ombudsman and Senior Manager for Performance Based Logistics at the Defense Logistics Agency since May 2017, James has held a series of key leadership roles, including Deputy Executive Director of Contracting at the Air Force Material Command and Executive Manager for Contracting Business Systems at the Secretary of the Air Force. Earlier experience includes serving as a Senior Military Assistant to the DoD Inspector General and as Deputy Commander of the Mission Support Group at the U.S. Air Mobility Command. James holds multiple degrees, including a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the United States Air Force Academy and a Master of Business Administration from City University of Seattle, along with additional advanced education in military operational art and project management.
