Xavier Mercader Bigas is an accomplished operations executive with extensive experience in various leadership roles. Currently serving as Chief Operating Officer at Degustabox since March 2015, Xavier leads company operations and the sales team, focusing on implementing strategies to enhance procedures and support new market development. Prior to this, Xavier held key positions at Ermenegildo Zegna Group from October 2001 to February 2015, including Operations Manager, where responsibilities encompassed operations, controlling, purchasing, engineering, maintenance, and project management. Earlier career experience includes roles as Plant Manager and Quality Engineering Manager at Freudenberg from July 1997 to October 2000. Xavier holds an Executive Program degree in Advanced Management Control from Esade, an MBA in Operations & Strategy from IE Business School, and an Industrial Engineering degree with a specialization in Mechanics from Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya.

Degustabox was founded in 2012 and is based in Stourbridge.
