Waqas Amin

Waqas Amin is an experienced SQA Analyst specializing in networks, with a proven track record in software testing and automation. Currently at Dejero since September 2016, Waqas has developed expertise in performance requirements, automated testing, and integration testing. Previous roles include Software Test Engineer at Sandvine, where Waqas defined specifications for Cloud Services and developed test plans, and QA Engineer at Avvasi Incorporated, responsible for a test automation framework and regression testing. Waqas also gained valuable experience as a Software Test Associate intern at BlackBerry, where a sanity test plan for the BlackBerry PlayBook was designed, and as a Quality Assurance Engineer intern at Q1 Labs (IBM Security), where automation scripts for HTML UI testing were implemented. Waqas holds a Bachelor of Computer Science in Software Systems from the University of New Brunswick and completed leadership and influence training at Communitech Academy.
