Rahul Dev Appapogu

Rahul Dev Appapogu is a Senior Control Systems Engineer at DEKA Research & Development since May 2019, having previously worked as a Control Systems Engineer. Prior experience includes serving as a Graduate Research Assistant at the Colorado School of Mines from September 2016 to January 2019, where responsibilities encompassed the design and development of localization and control algorithms for autonomous navigation in GPS-denied environments, as well as C++ and ROS package development. Rahul also held the role of Graduate Teaching Assistant for multiple engineering courses during this period. An internship at Research Center Imarat, DRDO in May 2015 involved designing software for estimating Direction of Arrival (DOA) using the MUSIC algorithm. Academic qualifications include a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines and a Bachelor of Technology in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology Hyderabad.
