Robert Bowman

Robert Bowman is a Mechanical Engineer with extensive experience in advanced research and development, specializing in machinery and robotics design. Currently, Robert works at DEKA Research & Development, focusing on part and systems design, along with evaluations and simulations adhering to ASME, MIL-SPEC, and DIN/ISO standards. Previously, Robert served as the Lead Mechanical Engineer for the IBOT mobility platform, overseeing product testing in compliance with FDA guidelines. At Segway, Robert led the mechanical engineering efforts for both the Apex Motorcycle and SE-3 projects. Early career experience includes roles at Procter & Gamble, Borg Warner Automotive, and Fisher-Price, where Robert developed skills in manufacturing processes, product testing, and prototype development. Robert holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering Technology from the Rochester Institute of Technology.
