Willem van der Steen is an experienced technology executive currently serving as the Group Technology Manager (CIO) at Delegat Limited, New Zealand's largest wine company, since December 2021. Prior to this role, Willem held key positions including Chief Information Officer at Perpetual Guardian, where responsibilities included overseeing technology operations and driving digital transformation. Willem has a strong background in innovation management from Callaghan Innovation, founding Thinking Hat Consultancy, and leading teams at Spark Digital NZ and Vodafone in various commercial and strategic roles. Willem holds a Master's degree in Technical Computer Science from Delft University of Technology and has a solid foundation in consultancy and management from earlier roles at Sevenstern Consulting and Van der Steen Beheer.
