Zhong Xu is the Co-Founder and CEO of Deliverect, a company that provides a software solution that helps restaurants improve their delivery operations. Prior to Deliverect, Zhong was the Global Director of Hospitality at Lightspeed HQ, where they were responsible for leading the development of the Lightspeed restaurant POS system. Before that, Zhong was the Co-Founder and CEO of POSIOS, a cloud-based POS system for restaurants that was acquired by Lightspeed in 2014. Zhong has also worked as a Senior Software Engineer at EVS Broadcast Equipment, where they gained experience in setting up large scale cloud services. Some of their notable projects include the London Olympics, Fifa World Cup, and the Archive of Monaco.
Zhong Xu has a Master in software engineering from Ghent University and a bachelor's degree in science and informatics from the same school. Zhong also has a webdesign and dreamweaver certification from Provinciaal centrum voor volwassen onderwijs and a modern language and science certification from sint-lievenscollege.
