Rhett Simonds

Rhett Simonds is the Chief Executive Officer of Simonds Consolidated, which is the Simonds Family Office (SFO) and a director of the company’s board. Rhett, 31, oversees the strategic direction and operations of this Melbourne based investment / private equity firm.

Rhett completed his degree is commerce in 2005 and at the time joined the family construction business (Simonds Group) working within the companies real estate division, Rhett developed it into a successful operation that sold investment housing to local, interstate and offshore investors. Rhett then become an active board member of the Simonds Group and moved into developing new business ventures and opportunities to realize Simonds’ diversification plans and objectives. This included a heavy focus on technology-based education and up skilling training platforms with job placement outcomes. Today this is known as The Builder’s Academy Australia. Rhett today also sits as the CEO of Simonds Group.

Late in 2014 the Simonds family had made a decision to take their family owned and operated business to a public float.

With a successful float now executed the Simonds family have moved part of their day-to-day operational focus across to their diversified interests and investments hence the formation of Simonds Consolidated (SFO). Simonds Consolidated is a family office that focus’s on investment in online, education and property based opportunities all managed and ran day to day by Rhett.
