Amir Mahani P. Eng. has extensive work experience in mechanical design and engineering. Amir is currently employed as the Mechanical Design Team Lead at Delta Controls Inc., where they are responsible for designing plastic enclosures for electronic controllers. Prior to that, they worked at Invinity Energy Systems as a Cell Stack Mechanical R&D Engineer, where they designed and tested components for cell stacks and performed mechanical properties testing.

Amir also served as a Senior Mechanical Engineer at ALTEN CANADA, advising and guiding clients on validations and modifications of High Pressure Diesel Gas Injection modules.
Amir's work experience also includes roles as an Applications Engineer at Agility Fuel Systems, where they researched and developed products within the truck industry, and as an R&D Manager at D.P.P. Co, where they managed projects related to converting cars to Compressed Natural Gas and advised on new component design and evaluation. Amir also worked as a Projects Control Manager at A.D.A. Co. and as a CNG Specialist at D.E.E. Co., where they installed CNG kits.
Through their various roles, Amir has demonstrated expertise in mechanical design, product development, testing, and project management.
Amir Mahani P. Eng. holds a Mini Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the University of Tehran, which they obtained in 2009. Amir also has a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Mechanical Engineering- Applied Design from K.N.T. University of Technology, earned between 1996 and 1999. Their educational background also includes a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) degree in Mechanical Engineering, which they received from the University of Tehran between 1987 and 1992. In 2012, they obtained the Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) certification from Engineers and Geoscientists BC.
