David Ritter has extensive experience in software development and product management within the access control and building automation industries. Currently serving as Line of Business Manager at Delta Controls Inc. since January 2016, David oversees the vision and development of access control products, leading multiple development teams. Previously, as Senior Technical Lead, David architected the EnteliSYNC software, enhancing access control data synchronization. David has been an active member of the ASHRAE SSPC 135 (BACnet) Voting Committee since 2002, including chairing the Life Safety and Security working group. Prior roles include Principal Software Architect at CopperTree Analytics, Senior Software Engineer at Delta Controls, and Software Developer at Simon Fraser University. David holds a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Simon Fraser University.
