Greg Jaman, MSc, P.Eng, PMP has a diverse work experience spanning over 20 years. Greg began their career as a System Administrator and Software Engineer at Catch the Dream Inc. In 2003, they joined Advansis Capital Corporation as a Technical Manager and Software Engineer. The following year, they worked as a Software Engineer at DPMG, where they specialized in search engine optimization research and monetization strategies.
In 2006, Greg joined SMT Research Ltd as a Senior Engineer, where they led various roles such as R&D project manager, project manager for external projects, and business development. Greg was responsible for designing software and electronic systems and managed the commercialization of new products. Greg also ensured compliance with ISO 9001 and was a firmware expert and wireless architect.
Since 2012, Greg has been with Delta Controls Inc., starting as a Hardware Project Manager and progressing to Line of Business Lead and Product Manager. In their current role, they manage and leads multiple cross-functional development teams and oversees a portfolio of products representing a significant portion of the organization's revenue. Greg is involved in the architecture team for IoT-based edge controllers, coordinates with the strategy team to create roadmaps, and evaluates new technology for unique customer solutions. Greg actively eliminates ambiguity, leads process improvement initiatives, and mentors employees. Greg is also an internal ISO auditor and member of the patent council.
Throughout their career, Greg has demonstrated strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and a focus on innovation and process improvement. Greg has a proven track record of successful project management and team collaboration.
Greg Jaman, MSc, P.Eng, PMP, completed their Master of Science degree in Engineering at the University of Manitoba from 2002 to 2007. Prior to that, they obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering from the same university, spanning from 1997 to 2002. In terms of certifications, Greg has acquired the PMI-ACP certification from the Canadian West Coast Chapter PMI, and they are also a certified PMP. Greg holds additional certifications in Coaching Skills for Leaders and Managers from LinkedIn, as well as a Micro-certificate in Cybersecurity Strategy and Risk Management from UBC Extended Learning (ExL). Furthermore, they have completed a Micro-certificate in Cybersecurity Strategy and Risk Management from The University of British Columbia. In 2021, Greg also attained The Complete Guide to Becoming a Software Architect certification from Udemy, and they are a Certified Software Quality Engineer (CSQE) from ASQ.
