Shanmuga Sundaram

Shanmuga "Shan" Sundaram is an experienced application development manager with a strong background in data management and analytics within the insurance and financial sectors. Currently serving as the Manager of Applications Development at Delta Dental Insurance Company since September 2011, Shan oversees a range of data-related projects, including Big Data Platform and Enterprise Data Warehouse initiatives. Prior experience includes a role as Senior ETL Developer at Expedien, Inc., where Shan significantly improved data processing times, and as Senior Software Engineer at Charles Schwab, focusing on data warehouse development to enhance business intelligence capabilities. Additionally, Shan contributed to data warehouse architecture at Infosys Technologies Ltd. after earning a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Bharathiar University.
