Sameer most recently served as the CFO at Delta Food Industries FZC, where they successfully implemented Sage X3 and improved finance cost and productivity. Prior to that, Sameer held the position of Senior Finance & Commercial Controller at Jumbo Electronics Company Limited, where they played a key role in setting up a new business. Sameer also served as the Finance Controller at Romeo Interiors and Finance Manager at Hi-Tech Concrete Products LLC. Sameer's earlier experience includes roles as Finance Manager/Senior Accountant at Arabian Trading Agency and Finance Analyst/Industrial Trainee at Rhone-Poulenc Rorer. Throughout their career, Sameer has demonstrated expertise in financial reporting, strategic decision making, project budgeting, and implementing efficient systems and processes.
Sameer Shah began their education journey in 1991 at Narsee Monjee College of Commerce and Economics. Sameer pursued a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) degree with a focus on Accounting and Finance. This educational endeavor lasted until 1996. Following this, from 1994 to 1997, Sameer attended The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, where they obtained the FCA degree specializing in Accounting and Finance.
