Matt Wesorick

Matt Wesorick, RN, MPH, JD, is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in healthcare and risk management. Currently serving as Assistant General Counsel at Delta Dental of Michigan since November 2016, Matt leads employment-based immigration practices and provides counsel on contract negotiation and regulatory compliance. Previous roles include Staff Attorney at Delta Dental, Policy Analyst for the State of Michigan focusing on the Affordable Care Act and Medicaid, and litigation roles at Foley, Baron, Metzger & Juip, PLLC, and The Juip Richtarcik Law Firm defending healthcare providers. Matt has a background in nursing, having worked in several registered nurse positions at various healthcare facilities prior to pursuing a legal career. Educational credentials include a J.D. from the University of Houston Law Center, a Master of Public Health from The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston, and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Marquette University.
