Annemieke Nijhof

Annemieke Nijhof has an extensive work experience in various roles and organizations. Annemieke currently holds the position of Algemeen directeur at Deltares since October 2020. Previously, from 2019 to 2020, they worked as a Consultant, Supervisor, and Coach for Topsector Water&Maritiem, NWP, Springtij, Evides, DNB, ESAA Erasmus Governance institute.

From 2012 to 2019, they worked at Tauw Nederland, first as a Strategisch adviseur and later as the CEO. Prior to that, they served as a Lid Raad van Bestuur at Grontmij in 2011.

Annemieke'sexperience also includes working at the Ministerie van Infrastructuur en Milieu as the Directeur-Generaal Water from 2008 to 2011, as a Raadadviseur van minister-president Balkenende at the Ministerie van Algemene Zaken from 2005 to 2008, and as the plv. directeur Directie Externe Veiligheid at the Ministerie van VROM from 1999 to 2005.

Annemieke'searly career included roles such as Coordinator Technische Wetenschappen at the Ministerie van OCW in 1998 and various positions at Tauw bv from 1991 to 1998, including Projectleider Bodem and Hoofd Water.

Annemieke Nijhof obtained a Master's degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Twente, where they studied from 1984 to 1990. Following their initial degree, they pursued further education and completed their Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Strategisch management from the TSM Business School between 1995 and 1997.
