Judith Kaspersma

Head Of Department - Climate Adaptation And Disaster Risk Management at Deltares

Judith Kaspersma is currently the Head of Department for Climate Adaptation and Disaster Risk Management as well as Flood Risk Management at Deltares since September 2017. Prior to this, Judith held the position of Senior Advisor Strategy and Innovation at Hoogheemraadschap van Delfland from May 2013 to September 2017. Judith also worked as a research fellow/advisor on knowledge and capacity development for the water sector at UNESCO-IHE from March 2008 to April 2013, and as a Programme Officer for Indonesia and Timor Leste at ICCO from November 2006 to March 2008. Judith holds a PhD in Technology and Policy Management from Delft University of Technology, a MSc in Water management from Wageningen University & Research, and completed their VWO at College Noetsele.
