Alana Lea has extensive experience in finance and human resources, currently serving as the Director of Finance at MAXIMUS Canada - DeltaWare Division since January 2003. In this role, Alana is responsible for managing month-end close processes, corporate key performance indicators, and fiscal planning activities, including revenue projections and cash flow analysis. Prior to this position, Alana worked at DeltaWare Systems from March 1997 to December 2002, where responsibilities included human resources management and office administration, as well as supporting senior consultants in business operations. Alana holds a Certified Management Accountant designation from CMA Nova Scotia, Bermuda, and PEI, and a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Prince Edward Island.

In British Columbia, Maximus Canada administers two of the Province's most important health care programs: the Medical Services Plan and PharmaCare. We provide employment services through WorkBC offices in five jurisdictions in the province. Our Service BC Contact Centre provides information and referral services for residents, and is the recipient of the 2019 Service to the Citizen award. In Ontario, Maximus Canada administers the Ontario Drug Benefit Program on behalf of the Ontario Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care. Most recently, Maximus Canada supported the Federal government through our Elections Canada Contact Centre. In Prince Edward Island, our Deltaware Division is one of Atlantic Canada’s largest Oracle Enterprise Resource Planning application teams. Deltaware Division produces Medigent®, a world-class suite of healthcare software used in nine of the 13 provinces and territories in Canada.
