Sandy Matheson is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in client services and business strategy. Currently serving as the Director of Client Services at Maximus Canada since September 2013, Sandy leads the division's business performance and growth while managing the Account Manager and Help Desk Analyst teams. Previous roles include Senior Account Manager at the Government of PEI, where strategic relationships between drug programs and economic development were facilitated, and Director of Industry Relations, where Sandy prepared a strategic business plan to enhance pharmaceutical investment in the province. Sandy’s background includes significant experience at AstraZeneca in marketing and sales, as well as management of a drug information system during tenure with the Province of Prince Edward Island. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Communications from Wilfrid Laurier University.

In British Columbia, Maximus Canada administers two of the Province's most important health care programs: the Medical Services Plan and PharmaCare. We provide employment services through WorkBC offices in five jurisdictions in the province. Our Service BC Contact Centre provides information and referral services for residents, and is the recipient of the 2019 Service to the Citizen award. In Ontario, Maximus Canada administers the Ontario Drug Benefit Program on behalf of the Ontario Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care. Most recently, Maximus Canada supported the Federal government through our Elections Canada Contact Centre. In Prince Edward Island, our Deltaware Division is one of Atlantic Canada’s largest Oracle Enterprise Resource Planning application teams. Deltaware Division produces Medigent®, a world-class suite of healthcare software used in nine of the 13 provinces and territories in Canada.
