Prior positions include Project Manager at the Society of Corporate Compliance and Ethics (SCCE), where Kortney launched the popular podcast Compliance Perspectives, and roles at the Health Care Compliance Association (HCCA) overseeing digital content. Earlier career highlights include consulting for Thomson Reuters on law firm profitability and operating as Owner of Idea Fidelity, Inc., where software documentation was developed. Kortney's educational background includes a Juris Doctor from Mitchell Hamline School of Law and a BA in Political Science & Legal Studies from Hamline University.
