Matthijs van der Moer has extensive experience in the maritime industry, currently serving as a Marine Coordinator at DEME Group since August 2019. Previously, Matthijs held the position of Offshore Installation Manager at Caspian Drilling Company Ltd., overseeing the MODU Fatih. Other roles include HSEQ Officer and Master/OIM at OOS International B.V., Master/OIM at Odfjell Drilling, and various positions as 2nd Mate/DPO and marine supervisor at Transocean, Ahlers, and Allseas. Matthijs began a maritime career in 1998 at Anthony Veder Rederijzaken BV and has a Bachelor's degree in Maritime Studies from Maritiem Instituut de Ruyter.
