Messiah has worked as a filmmaker independently since June 2004 and held positions at various notable companies, including Creative Writer for Accenture on the innovative Project Overcome, Host/Producer at Al Jazeera Media Network where a short documentary series was developed, and Associate Producer at VICE Media, contributing to several award-winning documentaries. Previous roles include producing and editing social media campaigns for the City of New York's Department of Homeless Services and a fellowship at Democracy Now! Productions, along with early career experiences at BET Networks and NBCUniversal.
