Jumana Al Aabed holds a Master's degree in Quality Management from the University of Wollongong. Currently, Jumana serves as the Section Head of Quality Analytics and Improvements at the Department of Health Abu Dhabi since April 2015. Prior to this role, Jumana worked as a Senior Analyst - Quality Monitoring at SKMC from 2010 to April 2015, where Jumana was responsible for handling the Quality Outcome book. Jumana has also held the title of Statistician specializing in Performance Improvements and Accreditation at SKMC.

DoH provides a wide range of services targeting Healthcare professionals, insurance companies, investors and the entire Abu Dhabi Community. Its services include issuing healthcare professionals licensing & examination as well as licensing insurance companies and Third Part Administrators to work in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi. In addition DoH provides investors with necessary data and statistics on the healthcare landscape in the Emirate for better business decision making. Based on Abu Dhabi’s public health priorities, DoH drives programs to increase awareness and adoption of healthy living among Abu Dhabi residents through various public health campaigns and initiatives.
