Emma Gilbert

Emma Gilbert is a seasoned professional in strategic policy and project management, currently serving as the Manager of Strategic Policy and Projects at the Victorian Department of Health since April 2022. Prior to this role, Emma held various managerial positions within the Department of Education & Training, Victoria, focusing on mental health policies and programs from July 2020 to April 2022. Emma's extensive experience also includes significant roles at the Department of Health & Human Services, where management of policies affecting children in state care was a key responsibility, and previous positions at the Department of Education and Early Childhood Development, which involved overseeing educational policies for children in state schools. Emma began the professional journey as a Policy Officer at the Department of Education, Employment, and Workplace Relations. Academically, Emma holds a Bachelor of Arts and a Diploma of Languages from La Trobe University and is currently pursuing a Graduate Diploma of Public Administration at Flinders University.
