Bill Brummitt possesses extensive experience in infrastructure and project financing, currently serving as the Assistant Secretary for Queensland and Brisbane 2032 Venues at the Department of Infrastructure, Transport, Regional Development, Communications and the Arts, overseeing a substantial government infrastructure investment. Previously, Bill held various senior positions at notable organizations, including the Infrastructure and Project Financing Agency, where responsibilities included managing significant projects and leading the establishment of the Global Infrastructure Hub. Bill also contributed to the Commonwealth Treasury as Principal Adviser for G20 issues and worked with the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade in economic diplomacy. Bill holds a Master’s Degree in Economics from Queen's University and a Bachelor of Economics with Honours from the University of Adelaide.
